I’ve been dancing since I was six, and have always loved rhythm, energy and motion. But I grew too tall for gymnastics, developed curves that made me unfit for ballet (and the blue hair and tattoos didn’t do much either), and struggled with my ‘place’ in a world I loved so much. And the clothes! Tights that fit my booty stretched up to my chest! I felt I didn’t fit.

Not fitting can mean heartbreak. Not fitting can also mean freedom. Freedom to create something new, something intimately connected to your authentic self — exactly as it is.

So I did. Create something new and authentic, that is. My clothing fits luscious curves and enhances lovely bosoms and backsides of all sizes. No more worry about overstretching, about slipping or binding or pinching.

I still dance - bellydancing - and teach classes and workshops and choreograph for this beautiful expression.
